Lonestar bonus scrapped after one day
The faction experiment from the patch notes is over: the cash and XP bonus for Lonestar (blue) was removed by an emergency update after about 10 hours.
- Rush to blue: the strongest Season 1 players switched to blue immediately. The team reached about a 67% win rate, and matches started late because everyone was waiting for a blue slot.
- Reports differ on the size: the podcast says +2.5% XP (under 500 XP per match), PlayGround.ru says +5% cash and +2.5% XP.
- CEO admits mistake: Joe Brammer in a video on X: "We were wrong." At the same time a driver progression exploit was closed, which according to the podcast affected fewer than 400 players.
- What stays: the 20% discount for teams at least 40 points behind and the new Bakurani spawns.
